£800,000 for The Folly

Lesley Tate of the Craven Herald reports the future of The Folly at Settle has been secured for generations to come after it received government funding of just under £800,000.
It means trustees will be able to complete decades long repairs of Settle's only grade one listed building, which is home to the Museum of North Craven Life, as well as a very popular, award-winning cafe.
